PLANNING GUIDE

How to Identify Aluminum Scaffold Replacement Parts

Start with the exact part number, then verify dimensions, connection details and the existing system. A similar-looking component is not enough to confirm fit.

Capture the existing reference

Record legible part numbers and retain any system labels or technical documentation in your private request. Do not guess a number from a low-resolution photograph.

Measure the connection

For braces, measure length and latch details. For frames, record width, rung pattern and spigots. For platforms, record hook spacing, deck size and hatch arrangement.

Handle conflicting references

Where documents differ, pause the replacement decision and request a current technical match. The legacy 9600 caster references differ on the leg assembly, so wheel size alone is insufficient.

Keep procurement separate from approval

A catalog match assists identification. Review compatibility and structural requirements with the responsible technical parties before installing the replacement.
