Aluminum
Aluminum formats are commonly considered where handling and repeated repositioning matter. Compare documented component weights and the actual system rather than assigning a generic weight or capacity.
Steel
Steel systems may be evaluated for other configurations and work demands. Check actual equipment data, handling needs and project design instead of assuming a material-based load rating.
Fiberglass
Fiberglass systems may be considered in environments where electrical exposure is a concern. Do not infer electrical protection from material alone; the whole setup and site conditions require review.
Electrical exposure
Aluminum and steel conduct electricity. Identify energized sources and required clearances through the applicable safety requirements and the responsible site parties.
Compare the project, not just the material
Use platform height, footprint, load documentation, access and environmental constraints to decide which system deserves technical review.
