Design and intended load
OSHA 1926.451(a)(6) requires design by a qualified person and construction and loading in accordance with that design. A component catalog does not replace the design.
Inspection
OSHA 1926.451(f)(3) addresses competent-person inspection before each work shift and after events that could affect structural integrity. Damaged components require appropriate action.
Mobile scaffolds
OSHA 1926.452(w) addresses mobile scaffold requirements. Review the full text, system instructions and the actual conditions rather than applying a generic movement rule.
Component mixing
OSHA 1926.451(b)(10) addresses intermixing components. Matching dimensions or appearance do not establish structural integrity or permit modification.
